Investment coaching is a unique offering that you won't find just anywhere. It's hard to get unbiased help with your investments and even harder to find someone who can answer all your investing questions. As a long-time investor who worked in investment management for 15 years and has managed their own money since the age of 23, I have a wealth of technical knowledge and practical experience. I'm also really good at using plain language, explaining financial terms, and making investing simple.

• You would like to start managing your own investments and need education, guidance, and support. 

• You are a do-it-yourself investor and want some reassurance that you're doing the right things.

• You work with a financial advisor but you don't understand the lingo - you'd like to be better informed when having conversations with them.

It's important to understand what an investment coach is and isn't. I don't provide advice on what specific investments you should own. I can't tell you whether a particular stock is a "buy" or a "sell". I don't teach people how to pick stocks and I don't engage in fancy financial footwork. I do:

 

• Provide investment education

• Give guidance on how to choose a broker, how to transfer accounts and how to place trades

• Help people figure out what ETFs make sense for them

 

The goal of investment coaching is to empower you to make your own decisions, get you set up with a portfolio, and be here as a sounding board. Generally we can get most of our work done in three meetings, although it could be more or fewer, depending on your situation.

 

I work on a "pay-as-you-go" basis, which means we have total flexibility in how often we meet - and it's all driven by you. You only pay for what you need and nothing more. The financial payoff can be significant through lower ongoing management fees and better returns.
